About

Hey now….thanks for stopping by! A little about me:

I am not a KKL/computer shaper, I am not an Insta-shaper, either. I started shaping surfboards by repairing them.

In the summer of 2003, I ordered 25 Clark Foam blanks, a few 5 gallon buckets of resin and slowly, began building my own surfboards, from start to finish.

Over the years, my process and skills became more focused and finally, something clicked.  It could have been life, it could have been a better economy, it could have been the roses.  But it allowed me to progress and develop a more and more acute library of shapes, designs and options for people when they approach local, NJ waves.

Over time, I’ve been blessed to make boards for family, friends, local bros and pros- all of whom led me to today.  My process is the same as it ever was, I shape only what I ride; every board and “design” gets tested by me, in our waters.  My philosophy is, Surfing First.  This has led to honest, organic decisions about life and surfboards.

This ethos continues to not only inspire me but fosters a continued growth in my process, skill, and design function.

Let’s go surf!
