Why does it take so long?

Surfboards are not commodities; at least to us, they’re not.  You are buying my idea, my design, my love and passion for what I do.  A famous Blues musician once said, “when I sing my heart out, I need to grow a new one before I can, again.”  I am not saying I need to grow more before I shape your board.  I am saying, there’s a shit ton that goes into making your board from start to finish, locally, with you in mind the entire process, right?

Most conventional orders take between 4-8 weeks.  If you are ordering a six channel gloss/polish, with custom logo, and three color way tint, it may take a bit long. Overall, I am faster than most but I am not Costco or Walmart…

Where can I find your boards?

Boards are in the water! But Instagram, the Website and certain retailers, too.  See our retailer list for stock options and the relationships we’ve developed with our trusted partners- we owe them a lot.

Can you send me pics?

If it works, I will.  But most times, your board is being shaped and done when you are sleeping, working or eating.  Basically, I am working while you are living, so sometimes, those times and lives do not align. If they do, I will gladly send you a process pic. Until then, troll my Instagram!

Can I come to your shop?

I get really lonely in my shop and sometimes, I need company.  Wonderfully, I have a family and friend group that is always dropping in and pulling me away from work and cleaning (there’s always time to clean).  Again, if our life and time align, it would be great but sometimes, the meet ups hinder productivity and water down my attention when shaping your board, trust me.
