The Shogun evolved from a long line of successful tube boards. It’s on its third varaitation in 2021 and most likely, will continue to change as I gain more and more feedback. The wide point is slightly forward but like most of our design DNA, the wide point orientation and its function, sits at center. Shoguns have a thicker foil (volume distribution) and hope to aid people when good waves (or days)… go bad. Whether it’s a fuller tide, off wind, or dropping swell, the Shogun’s wider outline and subtler bottom enables a tube board to turn. In some cases, Shoguns and replace HPSB as their tail widths inch closer and closer toward that direction. Removable tri, quad, or 5-fin recommended.
